The Barn apartment is available to active members for overflow family/guests for a minimum of four nights while the member is on the Point between Memorial Day weekend and Sept 15th. During the offseason, the minimum night requirement does not need to be met. For more information, please email Wendy Cowie.
The Barn apartment sleeps 9:
- 5 bedrooms (1 room with a queen, 3 rooms with 2 singles, 1 room with 1 single)
- Full Kitchen
- Living Room
- 1.5 bath
- Washer & Dryer
- Water and Electricity
Parking is for three cars – adjacent to the Barn. If you need additional space, please speak with the SPIA Caretaker about leaving cars behind the Barn.
This is a bare-bones, disconnected rental, meaning:
- No linens or towels will be provided except mattress pads, pillows, and bedspreads.
- There is NO Internet or TV in the apartment.
- There are limited cooking utensils in the kitchen. However, there is a coffee maker, microwave and stove/oven.
Feel free to donate items you feel the Apartment needs, excluding linens. You will not be reimbursed for donated items.
Day of Departure of Your Family/Guests:
It is the renting member’s responsibility to ensure that the Barn apartment is in ‘as found’ condition upon departure of their guests. The day your guests leave, please check the apartment for the following before closing windows and locking the street level door: All garbage and recycling must be removed, refrigerator empty and cleaned, all food removed, all rooms left neat and tidy, the bathrooms empty and reasonably clean, etc.
As another member is managing the apartment, it is not fair to make someone else clean up after your family/guests.
REQUIREMENTS:
- The rental fee is $125* per night with a minimum of four nights (4-night minimum timeframe is Memorial Day – Sept 15th) *The rate is subject to change.
- $160 cleaning fee (also serves as a deposit)
- Signed rental agreement required.
